Mike Nunziante
Songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, and international development scholar, Mike has devoted his career to creating moving music and meaningful impact.
MUSIC
Mike writes for, produces, and co-leads the US roots rock band Low Echo. His touring experience as an instrumentalist extends across the United States, playing storied venues like Austin City Limits, Rockwood Music Hall, House of Blues, Hammerstein Ballroom, St. Augustine Amphitheater, Toyota Music Factory, and The Fillmore. His solo work has connected with audiences in South America over multiple tours in Chile.
Mike's instrumental fingerprint is uniquely defined by a bottleneck slide guitar sound rooted in delta blues/roots rock traditions, which he blends seamlessly into unexpected genres like pop, soul, gospel, coffeehouse, afrobeats, bachata, reggae, and folk.
His repertoire also includes acoustic/electric guitar inspired in folk-inspired fingerstyle, hand percussion, and vocal harmony. An experienced charango player, Mike has innovated upon his traditional study of the Andean instrument in recording projects, film scores, and live performances.

Mike has worked at the junction of the creative arts and community building. His impact as a fellow, guest speaker, workshop host, project manager, music and language instructor, and fundraiser has reached universities, high schools, conferences, development organizations, and foundations throughout the western hemisphere.
Mike is a recipient of U.S. Fulbright and Princeton in Latin America awards, and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of International & Global Studies at Middlebury College.
